The Queen of No-Bake Desserts

Here’s a simple recipe for a delicious and quick no-bake dessert, featuring a special custard cream made from egg yolks. This dessert is perfect for any occasion and can be easily prepared in your own kitchen.

Ingredients for the no-bake dessert:

150 g ladyfinger biscuits
30 g powdered sugar
30 g cocoa powder
300 ml milk
Ingredients for the custard:

5 egg yolks
200 g sugar
50 g cornstarch
500 ml milk
250 g room temperature butter
400 ml heavy cream
Powdered sugar to taste
For decoration:

50 g grated dark chocolate
Preparation method for the no-bake dessert:

Mix cocoa powder and powdered sugar into warm milk. Quickly soak the ladyfinger biscuits in this mixture and arrange them evenly in a tray.
For the custard, use a smaller pot to combine sugar and egg yolks. Add milk and cornstarch, stirring well. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens.
Once the mixture thickens, remove it from the heat and cover it with plastic wrap. Let it cool in the refrigerator.
After about 30 minutes, mix the cooled custard with room temperature butter and spread it over the layer of ladyfinger biscuits. Smooth the surface with a spatula and let the dessert cool again in the refrigerator for about an hour.
Meanwhile, whip the heavy cream with sugar until it reaches a firm consistency. Apply the whipped cream over the set custard and level it with a spatula. Finally, sprinkle grated dark chocolate on top.
Flavor, taste, and a refreshing texture, all in a no-bake dessert that will surely win you over! Enjoy every bite of this treat prepared with love and passion for exquisite desserts.
