Ingredients:

1 cup of all-purpose flour

3 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder

2 teaspoons of baking powder

1/2 teaspoon of salt

1/2 cup of granulated sugar

1/2 cup of milk

1/4 cup of melted butter

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1 cup of packed brown sugar

1/4 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder

1 3/4 cups of hot water

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar.

Add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until well combined and the batter is smooth.

Pour the batter into an ungreased 9-inch square baking dish, spreading it evenly.

In a separate bowl, mix together the brown sugar and unsweetened cocoa powder. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the batter in the baking dish.

Carefully pour the hot water over the top of the batter and cocoa sugar mixture. Do not stir.

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 40-45 minutes, or until the top is set and the edges are bubbly.

Remove the cobbler from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Serve the chocolate cobbler warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if desired.

Enjoy your delicious Chocolate Cobbler! Don’t forget to share your experience with your readers.
